"A hike is a walk in a place where it's ok to pee" -- Mitch Hedburg

The sub-committee's June 30-July 2, 2010, meeting showed how GHS implementation is advancing around the world. It became mandatory for chemical substances in the Republic of Korea on July 1, 2010, and will be mandatory for mixtures there on July 1, 2013. Switzerland allowed consumer products classified and labeled in accordance with GHS to be sold as of July 1, 2010, but its reclassification of substances will not be in force until December 2012. Serbia adopted a law implementing GHS on June 29, 2010, that sets a transition period for CLP implementation ending Sept. 1, 2011, for substances and June 1, 2015, for mixtures. Two standards implementing GHS in China took effect May 1, 2010, and a system for coordinating GHS implementation by government and industry is being developed there. Australia expects to release a GHS implementation regulation for public comment in September 2010, and in the United States, OSHA is now drafting its Hazard Communication final rule implementing GHS.

I laughed with delight at the ad campaign when I spotted it yesterday. Not my style, but totally get what he was going for, and thought there were some interesting fashion ideas that I wouldn't expect from this line. The campaign (some images more than others) remind me of Kate Spade ad campaigns of past. Remember the one with the preppy NYC girl visited by her preppy family? This feels similar but a bit off. Though I did post the intro image with the jeep full of stuff on my wall. Thanks for sharing!

The U.S., especially multi-national corporations and wealthy investors, NEED the growth of other nations for good returns. The U.S. is washed up for quite a while in terms of growth, so they're looking elsewhere. If we threaten war with any of these growing countries - our multi-nationals and investors get kicked out - and I don't think they'll allow that to happen.

While I haven't removed my mouse from my desk just yet, it's easy to only use the Magic Trackpad with no need for the mouse whatsoever. The most difficult adjustment has been getting used to not having to pick up and move a device in order to navigate. The Trackpad blends in perfectly with my iMac and bluetooth keyboard and looks much better on my desk while offering a simple, elegant, efficient interface tool that requires little space. It's a great idea that has been executed well. The touch movements are easy to master and it has a proper tactile feel via the finger friction and integrated buttons that (built into the feet on the bottom of the Trackpad) provide clickable feedback for those who don't want to simply tap the Trackpad.

We once accidentally added too much lemon to our hollandaise, and loved it! Glad to see others also make this "mistake" and love it.I just had eggs benedict on brioche with Tasmanian smoked salmon the other morning. It was delish, but I bet your eggs benedict could compete. Miss your cooking and miss you, too!
